Affiliate Terms

1. The program

The DirectEmigreren affiliate program is offered by Gerardus Koetje, Avenida Monte das Amoreiras 4b, 6230-788 Vale de Prazeres, Portugal (“we”). As an affiliate you promote the digital emigration guides of directemigreren.nl and receive commission on sales attributed to you. Signup is free; your account is active immediately.

2. Sale attribution

You receive a personal code that works in two ways:

• Share link (e.g. directemigreren.nl/en?ref=yourcode): visitors receive a cookie valid for 30 days. If the visitor buys within that period, the sale is attributed to you.
• Discount code: the buyer enters your code at checkout of the complete bundle and receives 10% off.

If both a cookie and a discount code are registered on one purchase, the discount code takes precedence.

3. Commission

Commission is calculated over the net amount of the sale: the amount actually paid, excluding VAT.

• Sale via your share link: 30% commission.
• Sale with your discount code: 20% commission (the customer's 10% discount comes out of your share).
• Recruited affiliates: if someone signs up as an affiliate via your share link, you receive 5% of that affiliate's commission income. This applies exclusively to directly recruited affiliates — you receive nothing on affiliates they recruit in turn (one level, no compounding).

The discount code applies exclusively to the complete bundle; not to individual guides, premium packages or already-discounted offers. Sales through your share link count for all products.

4. Hold period and refunds

Commission is held for 30 days after the sale. If the purchase is refunded or charged back within that period, the commission is cancelled. After the hold period the commission becomes available for payout. For commission already paid out on a later-reversed sale, we may offset the amount against future commission.

5. Payout

Payout is by invoice:

• From an available balance of €50 you can request a payout in your dashboard.
• You then send an invoice for the amount (mention the payout number, your name and IBAN) to the email address in the instruction email.
• After receiving a correct invoice we pay within 14 days by bank transfer.

VAT on your invoice: commission amounts are exclusive of VAT. If you invoice as a business from an EU country other than Portugal (e.g. the Netherlands), the VAT is reverse-charged to Gerardus Koetje — you invoice without VAT and state “reverse charge” plus both VAT numbers. If you are a Portuguese business, Portuguese IVA rules apply. If you invoice as a private individual, you invoice without VAT. You are responsible for the tax treatment of your commission income (including VAT and income tax) in your own country.

6. Fair use

Not permitted, among other things:

• Self-referral: purchases on your own email address via your own link or code do not earn commission.
• Spam, misleading claims about the guides, or promotion in a way that damages the reputation of DirectEmigreren.
• Bidding on DirectEmigreren brand names in search-engine advertising or imitating our website.
• Artificially generated clicks or purchases.

In case of abuse we may deactivate your account immediately and void unpaid commission.

7. Duration and termination

Either party may end participation at any time. We may change the program or the rates; changes do not apply retroactively to already-registered commission. Upon termination, legitimately accrued available balance above the payout threshold is still paid out per article 5.
